Former Braves pitcher Brandon Beachy will make his first start since 2013 Saturday when Los Angeles hosts Milwaukee.
Dodgers manager Don Mattingly told the L.A. Times that he will use Beachy in the game that starts at 10:10 p.m. Atlanta time. Follow the game Saturday night by clicking here.
Beachy had elbow surgery in the spring of 2014 and hasn’t pitched in a major league game since Aug. 20, 2013.
He went 14-11 with the Braves over four seasons, with a 3.23 ERA.
Medlen is on a rehab assignment for the Kansas City Royals.
