Since arriving in Atlanta in the trade for Justin Upton, former Padres top prospect Jace Peterson has been shuffled in and out of the Braves lineup.
The presumed second baseman of the future is, however, is giving Braves fans a small glimmer of hope in an otherwise ho-hum season.
In the 6-3 loss to the Dodgers Monday, Peterson made two outstanding plays on balls in shallow right field.
The first was on a Scott Van Slyke pop up with bases loaded to end the first inning.
The second came on a hustle play in the fourth inning that had onlookers raving:
