The wife of Cincinnati quarterback A.J. McCarron made a few admissions while making her picks.
(Yes, they are married now.)
Asked “What’s the biggest difference between football in the South and football everywhere else?” Webb replied, “In the South, we don’t have the big cities to go to. On the weekends we tailgate. Friday nights we watch local college football. It’s pretty much a religion in the South.”
Attending games in football meccas like Atlanta, New Orleans and Starville, Miss., (see Alabama’s 2013 schedule) doesn’t hold a candle to being in Foxboro, Mass., New Orleans and Cleveland (see the Bengals’ schedule), according to Webb. Webb, a former pageant queen, entered America’s conscious after Brent Musburger gushed over the Crimson Tide star’s girlfriend during the 2012 BCS championship game broadcast.
McCarron has yet to play for the Bengals, as he works out a shoulder issue.
Perhaps her biggest revelation to USA TODAY was detailing how many “cold” hamburgers she had to bite into to make this Carl’s Jr. hamburger commercial:
