Seattle hasn’t quite gone over the loss of its NBA franchise.
The Supersonics left Seattle for Oklahoma City in 2008. Since then, the city has yearned for basketball to return. The fan base cries in anguish any time a franchise hints at a sale. It happened with Toronto, Milwaukee, the Los Angeles Clippers and now the Atlanta Hawks.
This time, the city’s Super Bowl hero made the first cry. And so it begins.
